We bet you all know about the new challenge taken up by our very own Ironman Milind Soman. He participated in the toughest triathlon in the world – ULTRAMAN Florida. It is three-day event which involves 423 km of cycling, a 10 km swim and 84 km ultra-marathon.
Milind Soman is known for his super healthy lifestyle, and his Pinkathon initiative and Ironman win are only some of his major achievements. Milind is also doing wonders at the Ultraman Challenge as he finished his Day 1 with 10 km of swim and 147 km of cycling, and the time he took for both of them is something that we could not even imagine.
Milind completed the 10 km swim in 3 hours 45 min, followed by the 147 km of cycling, which he completed in 7 hours. The challenges he faced during the Day 1 would have weaken anyone of us, but his journey of the first day is truly inspirational.
He has definitely inspired us a lot many times and his first day at the Ultraman challenge couldn’t make us more proud.
During his cycling time, both the tyres got punctured but he fixed them somehow and continued the marathon. Despite the hot weather, Milind Soman managed to complete the swimming and the cycling for Day in 10 hours 45 min, and 36 hours is the cut off for all the three days.
While we are here praising him, he has already begun his Day 2 at the Challenge, and there is no doubt that he will be great there too.
Dear Milind, it doesn’t matter whether you win it or not, because you are already a winner for us.
Keep making us proud.
