Sunil Grover has recently broken his silence over the whole tussle with Kapil Sharma. And while he opted not to say anything about anyone, he has made it pretty clear that he won’t be returning to The Kapil Sharma Show. Post the mid-air brawl between the two comedians, media is going crazy over what exactly will happen to the show.
Amidst all the speculations, comedian Raju Srivastava confirmed that he is now a part of the comedy show. He took to social media to confirm the news, and even shared a picture with Kapil and Sumona Chakraborty from the sets.
He wrote – ‘[I] became a part of the Kapil Sharma Show yesterday, and had a lot of fun…going again today for shooting the upcoming episodes.’
After Sunil Grover walked out of the show, there were speculations that Raju Srivastava was being roped in as Sunil’s replacement along with Ehsaan Qureshi and Sunil Pal. When asked about the same, Raju was quite subtle and said that nobody can replace no one in the show and that everyone has their own place. According to a report by The Quint, he said –
‘I don’t like it when people say I’ve replaced Sunil. I don’t think any of us can replace one another. We all have our place. Sunil is an old friend, and so is Kapil. I was hoping to bring about a reconciliation between the two. I did call up Sunil a number of times. He said he was out of town and would get back to me as soon as he returned.’
He said that though he does not exactly know as to what happened between Kapil and Sunil, but all hall he wants to do is patch them up as both of them are his old friends.
Meanwhile, a report in Mid-Day suggested that Sony TV will be shooting with Sunil Grover for Indian Idol due to contractual commitments. He is all set to perform a live gig as Dr Mashoor Gulati on April 1 at the Talkatora Stadium.
