Shah Rukh Khan, who recently became the first Indian actor to give a speech at TED Talks, is being trolled massively on Facebook. And the reason will surprise you. Actually, SRK’s admission form of Hans Raj College was shared on DU Times’s Facebook page, and it is going viral since it was uploaded. It went viral because it was Shah Rukh Khan’s admission form, and it was trolled because of his low marks in English subject. Yes, you read it right.
Shah Rukh scored 51 marks in English, which was lower than any other of his subjects. It has new significance as the actor comes across as a witty and articulate individual while he is talking in public, and low marks in English is nothing less than an irony.
The admin of DU Times’ online portal Milhaj Hussain confirmed that it was, in fact, SRK’s admission form, and that they have shared it to showcase that marks do not reflect anything. According to a report in Hindustan Times, Hussain said –
‘We shared it online to showcase that marks don’t matter if you are hardworking enough and know your aim in life. And, who can be a better person to set an example than Shah Rukh Khan? Through our portal, we encourage students. Also, celebrity posts attract a lot of traffic and students tend to talk about them more. When it’s the King of Bollywood, traffic is a must.’
Shah Rukh was massively trolled after the picture went viral. While some made fun of his marks, others highlighted that how proficiency in English has nothing to do with your scores.
