We all know that ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ witnessed a drastic downfall after Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar quit the show. Ever since three prominent members of the Kapil Sharma family walked out the makers are struggling with the show’s poor ratings. For the past few episodes, The Kapil Sharma Show‘s ratings have dipped drastically. Recently actress Monica Castelino, who’s known for bold roles was roped in to play the role of a glamourous girl on the show. Makers are roping big TV actors to make show more interesting. And the latest actor to join team Kapil is Supriya Shukla of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. Yes you heard it right !
Actress Supriya Shukla, who’s currently seen as Pragya’s (Sriti Jha) mother Sarla in Kumkum Bhagya, is the latest addition to The Kapil Sharma Show. Supriya, who has never tried comedy before is a little nervous. She will be playing the role of a woman from Uttar Pradesh, who has shifted to Mumbai. Well, Surpiya is a wonderful actress, and we are sure that the audiences will love her new avatar on TKSS as well! Supriya spoke to The Times Of India and told, “I was a bit nervous since this happens to be my first stint with comedy. However, Kapil and his team were really supportive. I will be bringing in the Kanpur flavour, and have worked hard along with the writers of the show on the lingo as well.”
Well, seems like this will be refreshing. Now, only Kapil Sharma, Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda and Navjot Singh Sidhu are prominent members left in show. As they say, the show must go on. Kapil and his team are trying their best to bring the show back to the top slot and they are succeeding in their attempt as well. We can see from past two weeks, the show is gradually climbing up the TRP chart.
