The film, which will be released in the UAE sometime around Eid next month, is set in 1962 during the war between India and China. The film stars Sohail and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, and it will also reunite Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on-screen after a very long time.
Kabir Khan wanted to shoot the Radio song in a typical 1960-kind-of town, but the team failed to find a place which was untouched by modernisation, and they created a 1.2 hectare set in Mumbai. The song has 800 dancers and 1000 extras.
One of the reasons to launch the son in Dubai, was that Salman was shooting his movie, Tiger Zinda Hai in Liwa, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, and therefore, thought of launching the song there.
