Today marks the ninth day of PM Narendra Modi’s demonetisation drive, and people are still queueing up to withdraw and exchange their money.
The Parliament hasn’t been able to work since two days amid the uproar over the currency ban. And just after the onset of the second day, Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 12:30pm.
But ahead of the session, Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das briefed the media, and told people about some of the latest developments as far as PM Modi’s decision is concerned.
Well, just after four days the withdrawal limit of Rs 4000 was increased, the exchange limit has been reduced.
