You all might remember the incident when a video of a ‘stone-pelter’ tied in front of an Army jeep went viral on social media. The video, which was first posted by former J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, created several controversies as it was claimed that the man was allegedly being used as a ‘human shield’ to prevent stone-pelters from throwing stones on the jeep. And even though the incident is almost a month old, it seems it has refused to die down. BJP MP and veteran actor Paresh Rawal has now taken to Twitter to express what he feels should’ve been done then.
Here's the video as well. A warning can be heard saying stone pelters will meet this fate. This requires an urgent inquiry & follow up NOW!! pic.twitter.com/qj1rnCVazn

Paresh Rawal tweeted on controversial author/columnist Arundhati Roy, saying that she should have been tie din front of the jeep instead of the stone-pelter.
Instead of tying stone pelter on the army jeep tie Arundhati Roy !

Well, for obvious reasons, the tweet garnered a lot of reactions on the micro-blogging site. Among few of the first ones was Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh.
@SirPareshRawal Why not the person who stitched PDP/BJP alliance ?

Not only him, many of the Twitteratti lashed out at his offensive tweet.

While most of the times Arundhati Roy is in news for all the wrong reasons, this time she got support from the Twitter users.
