We all know about Yogi Adityanath’s effect ever since he took over as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. From the sudden reshuffle of the IAS officers to the banning of illegal slaughterhouses, he has been on his toes since he took the oath. And now, a bizarre incident has come in light. In a weird case, it’s proven that the Yogi effect is engulfing the entire state. Apparently, a private school in Uttar Pradesh has allegedly asked its students to get a haircut like their Chief Minister.
According to media reports, Rishabh Academy School in Sardar area of Meerut had warned students that they will not be allowed to attend classes till they get the ‘Yogi haircut’. Not only this, the students also alleged that the school management had ‘banned’ non-vegetarian food during recess.
The matter came to light recently, after some students weren’t allowed to enter the school as they did not have ‘proper haircuts’. The circular irritated the parents and prompted them to protest outside the school. Reports said that the schools also placed a prohibition on students sporting beards as it is not a ‘madrassa’.
However, the school management has denied the allegations, and said that, by Yogi haircut, they meant short haircut like the Army one, so that there is uniformity and discipline can be maintained.
Ranjeet Jain, Secretary of Rishabh Academy said –
‘I asked the students to get Yogi-like haircuts, when they were unable to understand what we wanted. We basically want very short haircuts, of the kind the army gives. I had asked the students to remain in discipline, and get ‘fauji cut’. Also, the students have been told strictly to not keep beards.’
So, what do you think?
