Yogi Adityanath took oath as Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister on March 19, and he has been in the news ever since he became the CM. From anti-romeo squads to crackdown on illegal slaughterhouses in the state, something or the other has kept him busy since he took the oath. The newly appointed UP CM has been accorded the top category Z-Plus VVIP security.
While earlier, he was provided with Y-category security cover with two to three commandos guarding him, the centre decided to upgrade his security, with protection from the elite National Security Guard (NSG). Around 200 CISF commandos have been appointed for the security of the UP CM. One of the groups of commandos have been appointed at his residence as well.
We all know that he conducts Janta Darbar at his residence – 5, Kalidasa Marg bungalow – where he listens to the complaints of the common people, and address them. What’s unusual about the darbars is that a commando is behind every complainant and holds them from their shoulders while the UP CM is talking to them.
Yes, you read it right. As a part of the new and upgraded security cover, Yogi Adityanath will have about 25-28 commandos accompanying him with sophisticated weapons at all times when he is mobile.
His convoy will have pilot and escort vehicles armed with jammers.
