If you logged into your social media accounts yesterday, you much have seen Sakshi Dhoni’s selfie wearing a helmet of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). While she captioned it as a ‘throwback picture’, it seems there is something more than that behind the picture. Sakshi posted the picture on her Instagram account, to apparently take a dig at Rising Pune Supergiant owners. Why?
Well, MS Dhoni, who was termed as ‘Captain Cool’ for his composed leadership, is now a part of the RPSG team, and was removed as the Captain in favour of Australia’s Steve Smith. And things did not end there. Harsh Goenka, who is the brother of RPSG owner Sanjiv Goenka, posted a tweet, appreciating the decision of favouring Smith as the captain after he led Pune to a thrilling victory against Mumbai Indians.
Here’s what he wrote –
However, he later deleted the tweets after he was criticised by the fans. And while Dhoni is seen as the modest one, his wife Sakshi seems to be the fiery one. Why? Because she was not in the mood to accept this insult of her husband by the Goenkas. She posted two updates on Instagram, she first updated her picture with the CSK helmet even though Dhoni is playing for the RPSG team in IPL 2017. Let’s remind you that the CSK has been banned two years from the tournament for the alleged involvement of one of their owners in betting.
And then she posted another update about karma. It read –
‘When a bird is alive, it eats ants. When the bird is dead, ants eat the bird. Time and circumstances can change at any time. Don’t devalue or hurt anyone in life. You may be powerful today, but remember, time is more powerful than you. One tree makes a million match sticks but only one match is needed to burn a million trees. So be good and do good.’
