What is Metamask?

Thirdly, you can see different settings options in the settings window. Select ‘Network.’ All of the networks to which your MetaMask account can connect are listed below. Then, tap the ‘Add Network’ icon to the right.

MetaMask will now prompt you to enter a Network Name, a ChainID, a New RPC URL, a Block Explorer URL, and Symbol. Enter the following information to add the Polygon network to your MetaMask wallet:
- Matic Mainnet is the name of the network.
- The chain number is 137
- A new RPC URL is: https://polygon-rpc.com/.
- MATIC is a symbol.
- And, the URL for Block Explorer: https://polygonscan.com/
- The MATIC token pays all charges on the Polygon Network.
Step No.5
Lastly, connect your MetaMask wallet to the network. To do so, go to the top of your MetaMask wallet and click on the current network. Then select Matic Mainnet.
