Everybody is well aware about the cordial relations between yoga guru Baba Ramdev and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi today inaugurated the Patanjali Research Institute at Patanjali Yogapeeth in Haridwar where he stressed on preventive healthcare.

Ramdev has openly supported the Prime Minister and his initiatives and therefore, PM Modi being the chief guest at the Patanjali Institute might not have shocked anyone, but what did take people by surprise, was the advertisement by Patanjali ahead of the inauguration. The ad refers to PM Modi as ‘Rashtra Rishi – The Saint Dedicated to the Country’. The ad read –
‘THE INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF PATANJALI RESEARCH INSTITUTE.
The pride of the nation, in whom 125 crore Indians see a glorious future. The one who works vigorously to create a divine and holistic India. The one who is a sage and proving to be a God’s boon to the nation. He is none other than our:
Honourable Prime Minister of India, Rashtra Rishi (The Saint Dedicated to the Country), Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who shall grace the occasion, today afternoon, with his benign presence.’
And all the ‘nice words’ about PM Modi were a lot to handle for Twitter. Twitteratti just couldn’t digest the title of ‘Rashtra Rishi’ given to PM Narendra Modi. And here’s how they reacted on the micro-blogging site –
Calling PM Modi a rashtra rishi is going overboard. He is a politician with a vision and that is about it.

Also, our PM is now Rashtra Rishi apparently! What next – a temple? https://t.co/2wXPlnsdNG

And the deification begins! With "Rashtra Rishi" no less! Definitely more than a VIP! Wonder what's next? pic.twitter.com/Es8NgG7bZk

I'm not really a Modi hater but 'Rashtra rishi' is way too much. Illogical.👎
